We’re so excited to welcome you to our annual Fall Festival this evening and wanted to share a quick update!
Due to the high winds forecasted this evening, we’ve made some adjustments to ensure everyone’s safety and enjoyment. We’re pleased to announce that some inflatables will be set up indoors and others in the courtyard (outside inflatable use will depend on wind speeds and regulated by the inflatables company's attendants), so the kids can still enjoy them! We are also moving almost all games inside the classrooms. The petting zoo, however, is unable to attend, as the wind could be stressful for the animals and may also pose a safety hazard.
Due to the event’s layout changes, the map we released is no longer accurate. We will distribute updated maps this evening. All of our usual attractions are ready to go, including our novelty shop, cakewalk, bingo, the photo booth, face painting, food trucks, karaoke and more.
Your support means the world to us, and we’re dedicated to making this festival a memorable experience despite the weather challenges. Thank you for your understanding and flexibility as we adapt to ensure a fantastic night for our students and families.
We can’t wait to see you there and celebrate together!

With this fabulous Fall-like weather rolling in, we are so excited to have our lunch outside in the fresh air. This Friday, October 16th, feel free to send your student in with a small blanket or towel so they can get comfy on the grass with their buddies! We will also have outdoor tables available for those who wish to utilize them.
We can't wait to see the MPR set up for Fall Festival!

📌 Important Immunization Requirements for Your 6th Grader
Dear Parents and Guardians of Sixth-Grade Students,
Keeping our students safe, healthy, and ready to learn is our top priority! If your child is approaching or has turned 11 years old, state health guidelines and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommend specific adolescent booster vaccinations.
💉 Vaccine Guidelines
Required Vaccines
Tdap Booster: Protects against tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis (whooping cough). Typically required around age 11 or upon entry into middle/junior high.
Meningococcal (MenACWY): First dose recommended at age 11 or 12 to protect against serious bacterial meningitis and bloodstream infections.
Recommended Vaccine
HPV (Human Papillomavirus): Highly recommended by pediatric experts to protect against future cancers (requirements vary by state).
📋 Action Steps for Parents
Check Records: Review your child’s vaccination history or contact your family healthcare provider to confirm status.
Schedule an Appointment: If boosters are due, make an appointment with your doctor or local health clinic.
Submit Documentation: Turn in an updated, signed immunization record directly to the health office ASAP.
⚠️ Important Compliance Notice:
State law requires verifiable proof of up-to-date immunizations or an approved exemption form on file to prevent school exclusion.
📞 Questions or Assistance?
If you need information on state-approved exemption forms or assistance finding a local health clinic, please contact us:

Dear Families,
As we work together to create a focused, safe, and engaging learning environment for our students, we would like to share a quick reminder regarding our school policies on personal property.
Phones, Smartwatches, & Communication Devices
Usage: Personal communication devices are not permitted for use on campus. They must remain turned off and stored out of sight inside student backpacks while on campus.
Responsibility: Bringing personal devices to school is done at the student's own risk. The school and staff are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items and will not facilitate searches for missing personal property.
Please revisit the 2026–2027 Student Handbook for more information regarding school guidelines and specific consequences. Thank you for your partnership in discussing these expectations with your child!
