Scanning ensures student safety, accurate attendance, and real-time tracking for parents in the BusRight app.

📌 Important Immunization Requirements for Your 6th Grader
Dear Parents and Guardians of Sixth-Grade Students,
Keeping our students safe, healthy, and ready to learn is our top priority! If your child is approaching or has turned 11 years old, state health guidelines and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommend specific adolescent booster vaccinations.
💉 Vaccine Guidelines
Required Vaccines
Tdap Booster: Protects against tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis (whooping cough). Typically required around age 11 or upon entry into middle/junior high.
Meningococcal (MenACWY): First dose recommended at age 11 or 12 to protect against serious bacterial meningitis and bloodstream infections.
Recommended Vaccine
HPV (Human Papillomavirus): Highly recommended by pediatric experts to protect against future cancers (requirements vary by state).

Check Records: Review your child’s vaccination history or contact your family healthcare provider to confirm status.
Schedule an Appointment: If boosters are due, make an appointment with your doctor or local health clinic.
Submit Documentation: Turn in an updated, signed immunization record directly to the health office ASAP.

Dear Families,
As we work together to create a focused, safe, and engaging learning environment for our students, we would like to share a quick reminder regarding our school policies on personal property.
Phones, Smartwatches, & Communication Devices
Usage: Personal communication devices are not permitted for use on campus. They must remain turned off and stored out of sight inside student backpacks while on campus.
Responsibility: Bringing personal devices to school is done at the student's own risk. The school and staff are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items and will not facilitate searches for missing personal property.
Please revisit the 2026–2027 Student Handbook for more information regarding school guidelines and specific consequences. Thank you for your partnership in discussing these expectations with your child!
