We've had a great start to the school year!
To keep everyone safe, please remember these important drop-off guidelines:
Morning Drop-Off: Please use the drop-off lane in front of the MPR. Supervision begins at 7:45 a.m., so please do not drop off your children earlier than this.
Parking and Walking: If you prefer to walk your child to class, you can park in the main lot.
Important Safety Reminders:
1. The drop-off lane is located in front of the MPR. There is no drop-off in the middle lot.
2. Please use designated parking spaces in the main lot if you are walking your child to class.
3. The first parking lot is for buses and has limited parking for primary grades. If you're using this lot, please park and walk your child to class—don't drop them off from your car, as there are no crossing guards in this area.
Thank you for helping us keep our community safe.

Each school year, we begin by reviewing our Gecko Goals to ensure a positive environment for all. At Tanque Verde Elementary School, we focus on being Kind, Safe, and Responsible across campus.
Additionally, we want to remind families that cell phones and smartwatches should not be seen or heard at any time during the school day. We strongly encourage students to leave these items at home, as the school is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged devices. If a phone or smartwatch is seen or heard, it will be taken to the office and held there until a parent or guardian is able to pick it up.
Thank you for your support in helping us create a focused and respectful environment for our students!
It is going to be an incredible year filled with fun and learning!
